Just wondering, don’t worry, i don’t have a kidney stone.
My boyfriend’s mother has crohn’s disease and she has had some problems with it. She recently took a vacation to visit us (12 hrs away), and the day she got back home she went to the hospital for chemotherapy treatments. She told my b/f that it was nothing to worry about that it was just treatment for her crohn’s. I don’t know much about crohn’s/treatments, but I have never heard of chemotherapy as a form of treatment for this disease. She has lied to him once before when she was having renal failure and she told him that it was just a simple kidney infection. Is chemotherapy a treatment used for crohn’s disease?
I am having lower back pains and I’m starting to worry. I’m prone to kidney stones. I had 6 of them in May of 2005, and I actually went septic from them blocking my urter. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and I had to have 3 seprate surgeries and a stint put in my back. I am 9 weeks pregnant, and my ob/gyn made me stop taking prenatal vitamins due to the calcium in them. I am 6’1" and I have a condition that I over produce calcium anyway. Im really nervous about getting them during pregnancy. Has anyone had them and what did they do to help with the pain? I am deathly allergic to codene and most of the drugs related to it. Any body know anything on the subject?
My husband complains of stomach pain (flank) and test has shown slight swelling of the right kidney. Is it something to worry about? What’s the cause and treatment?
I woke up hurting and assumed it was time to take another pain pill so I did. Went to the restroom and on the way back to bed realized it’s only been a little over an hour!!! My husband said I’m just being a spaz and I’ll be fine but I can’t help but worry it will make me sick. I did eat a large bowl of spaghetti about an hour before I took the first pill if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance to any who respond.
Nayeli-Thank you so much for NOT answering my question. Pffft!
