I was wondering because I hear that it can mean anything…. a tumor, kidney stones or just plain gas but I’m not sure. How would a doctor know which it is? I have no bleeding in urine, no fever, no vomiting or naseaous and no loss of appetite. I’ve had history of kidney stones but no symptoms lately except for dark urine which I know what it indicates. Those white spots in ultrasound can mean anything right?
Oh and I had x-ray. No white spots in the x-ray or KUB either.

I’ve been in the hospital having many tests. I went in due to extreme fatigue/rapid heart rate. which increased over 2 months time. I tested positive for the d-dimer test (all subsequent clot testing of heart/lungs/legs were normal). I was low in potassium, but have managed to increase my levels with 5 days of supplements. Also, ketones in my urine at 60 (normal range from 0-9). I retook that test today but no results yet. I have not been dieting/vomiting etc. My blood sugars are normal, no diabetes. The other symptom I have is a burning (icy/hot) sensation which varies in intensity throughout the day on my entire body skin surface. I have kidney stones and liver hemangeomas but kidney/liver tests showing normal. I’m under no extreme/unusual stress…..but this last December my ex-husband (father of my son) died by suicide. I was under extreme stress for a few weeks.
If you have any ideas of what may be happening, I’d love your opinion.

So my cat had a vet appointment on friday due to an injured ear, but friday morning i also noticed he was going to his litter box and not doing his business which i thought strange. So when we went to the vet i also mentioned this. The vet now has him on three different medications PLUS a Special wet food diet to help hydrate him, and told me to watch him for straining when urinating, crying when urinating, excessive licking of his penis, and or vomiting and not eating. None of those things have been a problem but im still really paranoid because if this small bladder infection gets worse it could become kidney stones which is very expensive for me and painful for him. I have not seen him urinate at all today but i hear cats only pee 1 to 3 times a day…… but i don’t know how to make sure he is even able to urinate. I also heard there is a certain way that a person could push on a cats bladder to make it pee. My question is how do you do that i cant find the answer anywhere online. I just really want to make sure he is able to. He seems much more playful and happy compared to friday or thursday. I just don’t know what do you yahooers think?

My husband says his kidneys hurt, but not a sharp sharp pain. Its a dull pain. And theres no blood in his urine. Although he has been having an achy stomach, vomiting and diarreah. Could it just be dehydration? Thank you so much. It just started last night.
