I generally laugh at home remedies, because I feel like the billions spent on medical research would confirm or deny them, BUT my friend suffered for three weeks with a kidney stone. Pain so bad they had him on morphine. He was scheduled for lithotripsy (ultrasound breaking up), but last week he started a vinegar-drinking regimen, and within two days passed huge amounts of flakes and the stone was gone. What the heck? Sounds to me like it worked. The doc pooh-poohed it, but admitted the stone was gone. What the heck?

I think i may have em but dont know …in the middle of the night i get this pain starting in my lower right back and then it travels around to my whole stomache and then im in pain for about an hour and i put heat on it and it kinda goes away till next time..and now i have some bleeding and have to urinate frequently but not much comes out ,has anyone else had the bleeding?????

I have an ultrasound on monday for baby so im gonna ask my dr then but want opionons now

I will inform you that I am suffering for Stones in Kidney from at lest 5 days before so I checkup by ultrasound then doctor mention in my report you have stone in kidney so please suggest me Homiopathic Treatment in this problem, I am waiting for your suggestion .Please help me.

I was wondering because I hear that it can mean anything…. a tumor, kidney stones or just plain gas but I’m not sure. How would a doctor know which it is? I have no bleeding in urine, no fever, no vomiting or naseaous and no loss of appetite. I’ve had history of kidney stones but no symptoms lately except for dark urine which I know what it indicates. Those white spots in ultrasound can mean anything right?
Oh and I had x-ray. No white spots in the x-ray or KUB either.

im 20 weeks pregnant and i went for my ultrasound on thursday the sonographer NOT the doctor told me i had a dilated Kidney and the doctor will have to keep an eye on it that’s all she said. i don’t see my doctor until tuesday but was wondering what the cause of a dilated kidney was? someone also told me that the sonographer shouldn’t have told me anything until i seen my doctor. the understanding that i have is that a dilated kidney is when something could be blocking the urinal tube that carries urine from the kinder to the bladder and some people have to get stints put in but im pregnant so what could be the cause and what treatment can i have? i have bad pain usually after i have a drink and just before i go to the toilet i have been trying to go to the toilet before i get this pain so im not putting stress on my kidney. if anyone can help with telling me the cause and treatment of a dilated kidney that would be great or if anyone has experienced this for themselves thank you in advance.
i should also note that during this scan she said there was an Amnion Shelf or Amnitotic Shelf (where the Amniotic sac has joined itself together or something like that) she didnt really explain it properly
