My reflexology treatment threw up ‘ kidney problems, liver problems, breast problems, pancreatic problems ( beginnings of diabetes ), malfunctioning thyroid, heart problems. I am disgustingly healthy as of now. Could my therapist be right? Or is reflexology just another alternative therapy which is not tried and tested enough to be reliable?
Please help! My hands, arms, stomach, thighs, & feet are all swollen and puffy. I know it’s not fat because it feels almost like a water balloon. I have gone from a size 7 to 13/14 in just a year and have gained 40 lbs. I have not changed my diet or eating habits…if anything I am eating healthier than I ever have. The doctors cannot seem to figure out what is wrong, and just give up. I’m tired all the time, and my muscles ache. I had a kidney stone a few months ago, but everything started before that. Does anyone have any advise on what to do from here? It’s becoming very frustrating.
I have had my thyroid checked, blood sugar, & have had a urinalysis done to check my kidneys. All came back ok. I’ve also tried taking water pills and drinking about 1 liter or more a day for two weeks…I didn’t pee any more than I usually do.
My mother has 11% kidney function and is being prepared for dialysis. We are not receiving any input from the doctors as to just how sick she is and how long she will survive after starting her treatment. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
She suffers from high blood pressure, thyroid problems, weak heart, depression, stomach ailments and many more. She is currently taking approximately 26 tablets a day for all her problems. Doesnt look promising does it?
Our cat was just diagnosed with hyperactive thyroid & my parents want to do the methimazole treatment. I heard that there are lots of side effects including liver & kidney damage. I prefer the radioactive iodine cause I heard it’s a cure for the disease.
Anyway, if you have a cat with hyperthyroidism, what course of action did you take? Which do you recommend if safest method?
