I was in the hospital for 2 days, had 2 cat scans, some drugs throughout the stay, and a stent inserted into me. That was all I had and i got a ,000 bill, this doesn’t seem right to me just from comparing what others have had done to them and their cost. I also dont have health insurance because I cant afford it.

I want to check in and speak about an unexpected health issue directly related to my bypass-6 months ago– and happening now! Kidney Stones! this is a precautionary tale my friends be aware!

21 year old female has been sick for 2 years. Last year diagnosed at ER with a kidney stone. She went to a Urologist, he said he doesn’t know what the radiologist saw but he sees no stone. About 2 weeks ago same thing, radiologist said Kidney stone, on call Urologist admitted her placed a stent and said he didn’t see any stone. 2 days later he did a stent replacement and actually saw the stone. After another 2 days he went to laser it and he couldn’t find it. She was just taken in the last day or so by ambulance to the ER again because she collapsed yet again. I will be insisting she be sent to the University of Michgan. Should she see a Urologits or a Nephrologist?

I found out a couple weeks ago that i have bad B.V. [Bacterial Vaginosis.] I was about to get a pregnancy test tomorrow, because I am almost 100% that I am [or Was] Pregnant.

Note: I already have abdominal pain because of a stent i have in my kidney [due to a kidney stone] & because of having celiac [And not following that diet]

Well all day i have had this horrible lower abdominal pain/cramping, right in the middle.

& Then i started bleeding now i haven’t been bleeding extremely heavy but a decent amount. It’s weird tho because it is ALL BLOOD CLOTS. They aren’t bright red, but dark colored.

I’m really worried that I had a misscarriage due to the BV because I hadnt started my antibiotics yet.

I don’t know if blood clots are normal during pregnancy or not.

Also A sidenote:
I was supossed to be starting my period Next week if i am not or was not pregnant.

Any ideas?
I have a doctor appointment tomorrow so i will bring it up then.
But somebody please give me an idea of what you think is going on.
I am very stressed out about this.

I dont want to contact a doctor before then
as it could just be that i wasnt pregnant
and am having really bad cramping / blood clots
monthly cycle

I know the stent is uncomfortable and painful, but just curious if it is safe for a female to have sex while the stent is in place.
