I had a kidney stone 5-6 months ago that sent me to the ER. It moved to the bladder and I was told it would pass in a couple days. I never felt it, saw it, heard it hit the toilet or anything.

Now, for the past two weeks I’ve been experiencing slight pain when bladder is full, especially in the morning. Urine tested negative for blood, puss or bacteria. Is it possible that little SOB is still in my bladder and is now just getting inflamed due to exercise or stress?

Around August 2008 or so I had kidney stone pains. Doctor said I would pass it within days of that ER visit, however, I never did.
Pain went away and stones became out of sight, out of mind. Is it possible that with all the water I was drinking that the stone dissolved, or, could it of been bouncing around in my bladder till today?

Lately I’m having some sharp pains at the base of my penis. I figured it could be some infection, but is it possible it could be a stone?

Also, what is an affordable option to seek medical attention in the St. Louis area?
I passed it on Christmas night.
Funny story!
I was in bed ready to go asleep when I "adjusted" myself and noticed at the "head" there was something that felt like a scab. I became very concerned as I thought maybe the infection was leaking blood and that rough surface at the tip was a scab resulting from blood ozing out of the tube.
Inspection in a more lighted environment revealed that it was a kidney stone. Still in my tube, hanging out just enough to feel it.
Pulled it out with no pains or troubles.

I’m going to save the stone for chemistry class this coming semester. Can’t afford a doctor, but I might be able to get the professors to lend me some extra lab time!

Looking at its color and such, my first impression is that it is a Uric acid stone.
Seems to fit my eating habits as I eat alot of meat.
Infact, I raise and butcher pastured chicken meat for myself and select others.

So for about a week, I have had this weird cramping/pressure on my left side (not front or back; directly on the side) right under my ribcage. I think it might be a kidney stone, but I’m not sure. I don’t have painful urination, and I wouldn’t really say I pee frequently, either. It only hurts when I lay or sit in certain positions, and I can feel it more if I sit up and take a deep breath or yawn. If I lay on my left side, I can’t feel the pain. It gets worse if I lay on my right side, almost as if my ribs are pressing down on something underneath them. Could this be a kidney stone? If so, what are some good remedies I can try that will dissolve it and flush it out quickly? I just want to try some natural things before going to the doctor, since I hate going there. Any REAL help would be greatly appreciated; I want my pain to stop ASAP. Oh yeah; if I press that side, I cannot feel anything out of the ordinary, and it doesn’t hurt when I press there, either.

Not too crazy about the fact that I’m putting my personal info for God and everyone to read… but i’m needing some advice. I had been ill with kidney stones for over a year. Several surgeries and mostly just laying in bed for over a year. I kept thinking that once I was "well" i’d feel better. I’ve been medically "well" since May, but still have this sinking feeling. I even feel like i’m somewhat sick. Slight body aches. Always on the verge of crying. I am also having these "episodes" where I feel like I can’t catch my breath. It happens most of the time when i’m laying down. I have to sit up quickly to catch my breath. I’m just so sick of feeling this way. My mother has dealt with depression since she was 26. Her mother as well. I thought it was going to pass me by. I’m 43 and married with 3 boys. I just would like some input. I am seeing a doctor today. I suppose if meds are needed, then i’ll go that route. Thanks for any input.
