I woke up at 1 in the morning with severe abdominal pain. It only got worse as the night went until I curled my legs in holding my stomach and slept a little. It’s 7 now and the pain isn’t nearly as bad except when I get up to move around I can feel it a little. It almost felt like I was punched in the stomach and the pain radiated forever and just didn’t seem to go away with any position I made. I also went to the bathroom and my pee was a light yellow but It didn’t burn to pee. I also made a bowel movement and it was very dark and tarry. What could this be?

Today was supposed to be my 5th day in Ketosis. Could that have something to do with it? My diet consists of Boca burgers, eggs, peanut butter, cheese, cashews, protein shakes, and 5-8 glasses water. I also take a vitamin D3, B12, and a multivitamin.

Please help. Was it a Kidney stone even though I didn’t feel any pain peeing?

My dad has been taking pain medicine daily for years. He’s looking around for supplements he can take for his liver and kidneys to help reduce some of the damage painkillers do. He has to take his medicine,he’s not going to just quit.
He already takes a multivitamin every day for years,magnesium/zinc/calcium,B-Complex and 2 1000mg’s of Fish Oils.

Thanks!

I’m 26, I’m 6’1” and weigh 160lbs. I recently (last week) switched my diet to exclude the majority of pesticides, preservatives and processed foods, and I drink a lot of water now. I drink about 14-21 beers per week on average for about the last 5 years. I’ve never felt better since the diet switch, but I’ve noticed that my multivitamin doesn’t make my urine bright yellow like it used to, and everytime I urinate it smells strongly. It is clearer than it ever has been the majority of the time. What could cause this?

Cirrhosis is out, I have absolutely no other bad symptoms. I’ve gone through cold and flu season without having either.

Don’t have any other symtoms for kidney stones either.
