I have a dog that starting peeing every time she’s let in the house. We’re talking within 1sec-10 mins.

Yesterday my husband brought her in for a bath and to crate her a night and as soon as he placed her in the tub she squatted. He washed her and took her back outside. My husband doesn’t do the ‘dog thing’ so his solution is to just keep her outside. Which is fine, they have a dog house we built for them (all out 2 by 4s, haha), food, water and we still take her on walks and play with her.

But she didn’t have this problem before…well she wasn’t fully house trained but she never made messes so fast. I checked out the ASPCA website and got this:

"If your dog soils indoors, it’s important to visit his veterinarian to rule out medical causes before doing anything else. Common medical reasons for inappropriate urination and defecation include gastrointestinal upset, a change in diet, a urinary tract infection, a weak sphincter, hormone-related problems after spay surgery, bladder stones, diabetes, kidney disease, Cushing’s disease, neurological problems, age-related incontinence and certain medications. Please see our article on Medical Causes of House Soiling in Dogs to learn more."

I know the obvious answer is to take her to the vet but I’m looking for anyone whose had this problem and what they did/turned out.

Is there any way that the kidney stones messes with his testotorone or anything?

I work 3rd shift, have 3 kids, and not a lot of money or time to invest in special foods, gym etc . I spend my days off cleaning, and being that I never get much sleep regardless, I have no energy. I can’t take diet pills or anything with caffeine, it has been linked to the kidney stones I get, and with those, I have to watch my calcium intake, along with being lactose intolerant( i know i’m a mess, and I’m only 22!) I am made up of a lot more muscle than fat, so if I don’t see the lbs. falling off, compared to inches, I get discouraged, & the only thing that actually works is atkins, but it really makes me feel like crap, and messes up my stomach, so there goes the energy I do have. I have the will and want to lose weight, so I’m not making excuses. I want to slim down some by august, I’m going to see my brother graduate from bootcamp(marines) in S.C. so I’d like to look good. Any suggestions?
oh..I’m about 230lbs, 5’6". a lot is in my stomach and lower, (3 kids:)but I am alot of muscle, which is some of my problem.

I have had kidney stones since Novemeber off and on , more on than off. I seem to be produceing many at one time. I went to ER last night and they found more. This all started after I got on Pravastatin. My question is can Pravastatin cause Kidney stones and it there any way besides drinking Lemon juice / Cranberry to get rid of these? I passed 3 this morning and I already know there are more. I can tell from pain in right kidney. I don’t want to go back to hospital… they give me pain meds that make me feel like my head is going to blow off. (their answer for everything) Please someone out there with experience help! Maybe a natrual way…natrual herbs…?
I know Lemon juice 1/2 cup and 1/2 cup fo hot water with a tablespoon of honey works, and that is ok when just passing one or 2 stones but I have many and they keep coming. Dr.s in E.R. sent me home to call my Dr. Monday. I can not stand to drink any more Lemon juice or cranberry. I want to vomit just thinking about it after drinking so much…I hate pain meds. It really messes with me big time. I am allergic to most pain meds. I stop taking the pravastain last night to see if that makes a differance and hope I don’t have some reaction from stopping them. ??? hum I guess that is another question
ok I just found this link http://www.uriflow.com
but I my question still stands.
I have pass 12 stones since Feb 05.08 Lemon Juice has been the only thing that has helped so far. The Dr. doesn’t know what to do as of today. They gave me a new appointment after being in the ER for hours… Friday which 3 days away. Lemon Juice seems to have stopped the Kidney stones for now. And I found this recipe in an herbalist book. ER found 3 stones and sent me home with nothing to help. My Dr. couldn’t get me in until Friday
