i’ve heard about different treatments that are available for people with kidney disease like medicines that can be taken to help prolong kidney disease and it helps slow the disease down. i also heard oh yeah dialysis works … do the treatments for a while and go to work while u are having the treatments. does anyone know anything about this?

i am having a stone left side of my kidney and size of the calculus is about 4 mm without obstruction ..i am drinking 3-4 litres of water everyday…but now we are planning to have a baby…does it affect the pregnancy?we went to the doctor she dint give me any medicines for that..i am on treatment to get pregnant(vitamin tablets and to produce more egg)…everything is normal for me..can any one give me some ideas and suggestions to get ride of it..

Huge pelvis recurrent malignant mass with minimal ascites.

My wife is a kidney patient for which takes steroid tablets for treatment a very mininal dose. That causes lot of unwanted and unexpected problems every time with a different one. Now for the past 2 months she gets severe abdominal pain during mensuration time. Can any body give a solution to this. I will be extremely thankful for the right guidence. I have a kidney stone of size 3mm, My Doc gave me some medicines(rather painkillers) and advised me to have at least 3 to 4 liters of water a day , avoid spinach and other green leafy vegetables and colas .I have also been diagnosed with mild hydronephrosis . The Doc says that its due to the stone . Essentially what I want to know is how does one know when a kidney stone is trying to pass.
