I’m only 29 years old. I’ve had kidney stone attacks for 2 1/2 years. They found a 7mm kidney stone and I had a Lithotripsy to get rid of it. Then I went for an ultrasound to see if there were any kidney stones. There were no kidney stones BUT they found a GALL STONE in my gallbladder that is 2 cm.
Am I really unhealthy and unlucky at my young age of 29 or what? Does this show that I have a very poor diet of fatty foods?

I’ve been feeling a slight pain in my kidney area. I went to the hospital for urinalysis. The results pointed that i do have calcium oxalate crystals, an indication of kidney stone. I had an ultrasound but no kidney stone was found. We have a family history of kidney stones.. But I’m only 17 so i’m not sure..

My brother has renal kidney failure and he needs to undergo dialysis treatments and kidney transplant as soon as possible.The doctor said that it cost almost 1 million all in all,but we dont have amount like this,my father was only a farmer tenants and i’m only a production operator.Even i’ll get overtime daily,this is not enough to produce 1 million for my brother.I/we love my brother.What foundation that helps kidney patients, can u suggest me for my brother?I want him to stay and live with us.If only i can give him a 10 years of my life,i could. I was diagnosed with a kidney stone on Monday. I had a CT scan yesterday and am still waiting on the results from that. My doc didn’t think it could be anything else. In the past couple of days I can tell my pain got lower. Right now I’m on Ultram for pain and my doc is having me use a strainer to try to catch the stone. Am I going to know when I pass the stone? Will I be able to see it? What color will it be? Will the pain stop right then? How long will it take to pass?

Has anyone ever heard of cord blood used as a possible treatment to kidney failure. I’ve searched the web and have gathered a lot of information on what they have been doing in pushing the envelope on kidney failure treatments. I know they are also working with whipping out a persons marrow and replacing it with the donors marrow to offset rejection. Also, I’ve seen on the news how the U of Minnesota has recently found a way to erase dna in an organ and replacing it with ones own Dna to trick the immune system into thinking that its their own organ. I’m really interested in what others have to say because I’m currently rejecting my 3rd kidney transplant. I’m only 22 yrs old and will try everything to fight what I have now to make a comeback for my family and my new born son. Funny thing is we were going to safe his cord blood from when he was born but we didn’t have any money and my kidney was working perfectly. Well any comments would be greatly appreciated!
