hey!
i have a birman cat, she’s 5 and she recently was and still is on treatment for kidney stones.
Today, when i came home, i realized her lips were completely swollen and so were her front paws only.
My mom decided to put a carpet which she loves to sit on in the garden a few days ago to dry and i don’t know if it’s coz of tics and insects in her skin. Under her mouth near her neck area she has lumps of black stuff,looks like insects… i’m quite scared because the swelling looks bad, I don’t know wether it’s allergic or infection or just a side affect of her treatment
any suggestions or ideas?

My father is just over 60 and he has a very large stomach (ascites) filled with fluid and keytones in his urine. He also has lumps in his belly that can be felt when you touch his stomach. I recently went for my annual pap, my urine sample showed a trace of blood. They sent me to a Urologist for further testing. When the Urologist did a urine sample, blood was present at a level 1 (4 being the worst). I was sent to the hospital for an x-ray to see if it’s a kidney stone, nothing showed. He "felt around" and didn’t find any lumps, says he doesn’t think it’s any kind of growth because I’m 29 and a non-smoker. Now he wants to run another test, which involves running a tube up to my bladder to see if anything is going on. My only symptom is that a urinate a little more frequently than usual. The problem is I don’t have any insurance, and these office visits and tests are ridiculous costs. What should I do, keep going or just forget it? Any kinds of natural cures for clearing out your urine stream?
