I had a bout of severe pain 2 nights ago, and had to go to the ER. My kidney stone is around 6mm large, and I started taking pain meds once I got home. I had no further pain while on the meds. Today is the first day I haven’t taken the meds, and still no pain? Is this normal for kidney stone pain to come and go, or could this signify that the stone is already in the bladder? I have been urinating normally as well.

I generally laugh at home remedies, because I feel like the billions spent on medical research would confirm or deny them, BUT my friend suffered for three weeks with a kidney stone. Pain so bad they had him on morphine. He was scheduled for lithotripsy (ultrasound breaking up), but last week he started a vinegar-drinking regimen, and within two days passed huge amounts of flakes and the stone was gone.
