I was taken into the emergency room back on May 18 and was diagnosed with a 3mm kidney stone. I have now been to the ER twice since then and the stone still hasn’t passed. I take the pills like I am supposed to and drink water. Ive been drinking liter after liter of water and still nothing. I starting to get get sick of taking these pills and drinking all this water!

She told me not to be surprised if they put me in the hospitol to control the pain better and put me on an iv to flush it out. What do you think? Any experience? I just found out on monday night @ ER so my doc hasn’t seen me yet.

I have a kidney stone, and i also have a birthday tomorrow. I may have potentially passed it cause it hasn’t hurt in a while, but i was wondering if it would be really bad to drink alcohol before or after passing the kidney stone

My pain has diminished and the stone hasn’t passed. What’s up with that?

I went to the emergency room about three weeks ago and they said I have a 4mm kidney stone in my ureter just below the kidney. The doctor said there was fluid getting backed up into kidney. The stone still hasn’t passed. Will the kidney get damaged if I don’t get surgery right away?
