For the past 3 months I’ve been going to the doctor because of lower back pains, my abdomen hurting, and constantly getting the chills. The first couple of months the doctors couldn’t detect any kidney stones with x-rays and the ultrasounds but there has always been blood in my urine every time they’ve tested me. Now my primary doctor is saying that the urologist I went to put a note saying that I had kidney stones which he didn’t mention to me. So now it’s been 3 months since I’ve been going to the doctors for this. If I have kidney stones I think I would’ve felt it if I passed any but I haven’t so I’m thinking that the kidney stones I might have may have grown in size. I don’t have the best diet and I know I don’t drink nearly half as much water as I should. How can my kidney stones be removed if they’ve grown over the past three months? Do they do it surgically or do they do the shockwave to break it down so that I can pass it? And does it hurt when you pass kidney stones even after they break it down?
yes i went to a doctor, i’ve been going since November. i went to the doctor today and i’m going to the urologist on the 23rd. chill.

So for about a week, I have had this weird cramping/pressure on my left side (not front or back; directly on the side) right under my ribcage. I think it might be a kidney stone, but I’m not sure. I don’t have painful urination, and I wouldn’t really say I pee frequently, either. It only hurts when I lay or sit in certain positions, and I can feel it more if I sit up and take a deep breath or yawn. If I lay on my left side, I can’t feel the pain. It gets worse if I lay on my right side, almost as if my ribs are pressing down on something underneath them. Could this be a kidney stone? If so, what are some good remedies I can try that will dissolve it and flush it out quickly? I just want to try some natural things before going to the doctor, since I hate going there. Any REAL help would be greatly appreciated; I want my pain to stop ASAP. Oh yeah; if I press that side, I cannot feel anything out of the ordinary, and it doesn’t hurt when I press there, either.

I have had kidney stones before. They are very, very painful.
I believe that I may have a kidney stone that is trying to pass. It may be lodged in one of the ureters. The pain that I have been feeling radiates from my lower back (presumably, my kidney) to my front groin area.
My nuts also have been hurting really badly, as well.
What can I do to pass the stone? Are there any home remedies?
*Going to the doctor isn’t an option. I was fired two weeks ago from my job, and my health insurance was canceled.
