I drink a lot of diet Pepsi. And i don’t want a kidney stone

I am trying to lose weight. I love diet soda and drink about 5-7 a day. I have heard a lot of the bad side effects of diet soda (reduced calcium, water retention, sugar stimulant, kidney stones). Much of the research on this stuff is tough to verify. ANYWAY, if I am going to try and cut diet soda out, what are some good substitutes besides water. Is Diet Iced Tea, Diet lemonade, Crystal Light, Propel, etc more healthy? How much more? Informed answers only please……

I have been hearing that drinking too much soda (or drinking more than 2 cans of soda per day) can result in pancreatic cancer, or rather Kidney Stones.

But nevermind the Kidney Stones.

To be honest, I drink ALOT of DIET soda nonstop, 24/7 and I can’t get myself to drink something else most of the time. Its like to me, what beer is to adults.
I am only 14 so I don’t think I have a good chance of getting MS.
