Hello all, My brother’s kidneys are not working properly. He is also having diabetes. We undergo treatment of dialysis. Can his kidneys starts functioning well after some period????

So my Gray cat Monte , had sugery on Monday , he will be coming home This thursday an He is going to be on a special Diet (persciption Food for his Urinary Track) due to his Kidney Stone , Now My cats (Brother & Sister) have Always Shared a food dish , How do I go about keeping his sister out of his food ? In the past we have tried 2 separate Dishes , But they always eat together out of the same dish , any suggestions on what i can do ???
