I can’t see my doctor until most like Wednesday or Thursday but I’m feeling like I have a bad UTI with some bladder and kidney involvement since I am having flank and back pain.
I am really not in the position to see a doctor right now, is there any possible way I can delay treatment for maybe three days?

My guinea pig had stones. He passed one & must have passed the other. We changed his diet but he had stopped eating so we went back to what he was used to & that is when he began to gain weight back again. We think he passed the 2nd stone because he stopped crying & is behaving "back to his old self". I have noticed for about 2 wks his paper in his cage look tinted. I called both his vets in our town & in Indianapoli & reported it. The vet office in Indianapolis said it could be blood or he is stressed. Now I have to wait to the end of the day for his urine test to come back & I am so worried! I work in a lab & used some reagent that detects blood in stool just to see if the color would change & it did not so I am hoping it is not blood. Could something be wrong with his kidneys? Please any help would be very appreciated! I am a very worried piggies mommy right now! Thanks!

I have had problems with this bladder/urinary tract infection for a while.(without treatment)
But just recently (today, as of 8/8/08) I had blood in my urine.
It does not burn when I have to pee, but it burns (sorta like the feeling that I have to pee again) immediately after I pee.
My urine is cloudy and it does have a foul smell.
When I do feel that I have to pee, it’s an urgent thing and if I don’t hurry to a bathroom then I won’t make it in time.
I (just last night) had a fever of almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit (99.3) and I had pretty bad chills. Along with the fever and chills came body aches (sorta comparable to menstrual pains.
Is this a kidney infection, or a bladder/urinary tract infection?

I woke up this morning and urinated as usual, but I had more urine in my bladder and the flow wasn’t as strong as normal (ocasionally I had to stop and start up again).
Also, my bladder feels painful (tender) when I make certain physical movements alongside an overall dull cramping. I only noticed this beginning just yesterday.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anyway I can self treat this?
