few questions, can PCOS make a urine pregnancy test negative? considering PCOS is to do with hormone imbalance, and at home preg test is also.
will repeatedly missing period make a non pregnant, healthy woman sick?
and finally what are medical problems that could cause period screw up, beyond pcos?
Its not stress, its not my diet, no weight change, otherwise normal and healthy. and no i’m not psychologically affecting my af.

please dont post long articles from goggle on pcos. i’ve already done my research on it. just my questions above is what i dont understand on the issue.

((additional details– husband and i have been using (very precisely, medical) birth control for last 5 years. has worked so far but method isn’t guaranteed 100%. my AF (aunt flo) has always been at end of month. last year husband went into hospital-icu during AF, af stopped immediately due to the stress, restarted 2 months later when he recovered, but was now coming at first of month. has been first of month ever since. 3 months ago i passed a kidney stone 2 days after af started. after pass the stone af stopped, which i understand. my AF is sensitive like that, obviously. but it always restarted as normal in the distant past, no matter what. last month it skipped 2 weeks and only came for 3 days. we thought i was pregnant b/c was having several other symptoms as well. 2 pregnancy test, at home urine, both negative. now this month, again going on couple weeks late. no sign of af, couple cramps for 2 days, no spotting, no nothing. don’t want to waste money on more preg test just yet. we’ve recently begun speculating i might have PCOS, that gyn began noticing 2 years ago but didnt consider serious as af was normal then. from my own research i know pcos screws up period, but does this new "schedule" of mine sound at all normal, even for pcos?))

edit: and i’m going to gyno again very soon for these reasons. just appreciate others opinions on it.

I am a 19 year old female, and my problems started with a kidney stone at 17. Since then, I’ve had 3 kidney stones, diagnosed with renal colic since I have flank pain about twice to three times a week. In addition, I switched my birth control from Yasmin to Yas, and this has led to an increase in hematuria, or at least visible blood in my urine. I also have a history of IBS and high cholestrol. My diet is not great, and I produce about 1 liter of urine per day. I have been to several gastrointestinal drs, nephrologists, urologists, OBGYNs, etc, and have ran several scans and tests but they cannot put their finger on it. I have constant pain in the flank and stomach, and the constant bleeding really worries me. Please, if anyone has any idea what could possibly be wrong with me please help! Thanks in advance.

my girlfriend keeps going into these spells were she starts vomiting every 5 minutes for hours, till the point were nothing is even comming up accept for this bright yellow liquid.

the symptoms: constant vomiting, migraines, stomach pain, unusual pain in the mid region.

the spells last for about 5-10 hours. and its about the 4th time its happened since around new years.

she has gone to E.R. twice already and they only treat the situation but never give a diagnosis. she has gone through the MRI etc,,, and they said there is no sign of ulcers or kidney stones.

there is also absolutely no patters from her diet that trigger these spells. it just happens all of a sudden.

just looking for a helpful opinion or tip of some sort. we don’t know what to do and the doctors seem to stop trying to help since they cant figure it out. need help.
thanks in advnance…
she has also had problems with birth control in the past but the doctors seem to brush off that detail. she is also not pregrant or has any illness’s and take no medication for anything.

I’m 16 and I take birth control pills. My guardians think it’s to make my monthly less heavier and longer but actually it’s because i’m sexually active and that’s between me and my doctor. I’ve heard that birth control pills can cause kidney stones. Do they? And if so what can i take that is also birth control that doesn’t cause them? And I don’t want my guardians knowing i’m currently sexually active.

I am a 23 year old female. To get the premium rate for life insurance I had to have a blood and urine test. I was approved for the life insurance, but when I got my medical results back, my blood creatinine level was almost twice the upper limit of the acceptable range (the upper limit of the range was 260 and my level was 460). My grandmother has had several operations on her kidneys due to high numbers of kidney stones, and ever since I got a UTI last May (which according to urinalysis is no longer present) at night it seems like water goes right through me. I take a SIP of water with my birth control at 10pm, and unless I fall asleep quickly, I have to get up to pee a small amount 3-6 times. During the day I urinate at normal intervals.

Additionally, it seems like I have been more tired for the past year than previously in my life. I can easily sleep 14 hours and still go to bed on time that night with ease.

All of these things could be separate, or my imagination, or caused by something else, but I scheduled an appointment with my primary on Friday to discuss and see if further evaluation is needed.

Any experiences similar to mine?
