i have very bad bones, i wanna take calcium vitamins but i heard that they r bad if u got kidney stones and i do. im 25. i need something 4 my bones they ache alot
My son, age 15, came to me complaining of pain in the area of his kidneys. I asked if it was sharp pain or an ache and he said it felt like someone was pressing on them. I asked him to drink some water and he said he’d been drinking water all morning (he was at a friend’s wrestling tournamont). He doesn’t have fever or feel ill, just hurts.
What should I watch for or do for him?
I’m wondering where along the back they are..I’ve heard upper and lower…why I’m wondering is because I have a persistent ache just above the small of my back/curve of spine. Also, how close are they to the spine? are they far apart or set close?
this ache comes after nearly 4 weeks of suspicious urine (cloudy/dark colored [brown at one point]/ large particles in it) which is why i suspect the kidneys
I have had a kidney infection and have completed meds. No other symptoms remain other than a nagging ache in my kidney region. Is this uncommon to have this achy feeling?
I believe I currently have a kidney stone. I woke up with it several days ago and had the typical sharp intense pain and that came and went. I’ve been drinking lots of water and walking as much as I can but it hasn’t passed yet. My concern is that the pain has changed now from the sharp pains that come and go to a constant ache. It’s less intense and more easy to tolerate, but it never goes away – it’s very similar to bad period cramps but it’s only on the one side. I just read something that said if the pain becomes constant it could be because the stone is lodged and no longer moving. Anyone know more about this? I’ve had a stone before but that one passed rather quickly and was very tiny. I’m trying to avoid the doctor if I can as last time they literally couldn’t do a dang thing but send me home and tell me to do exactly what I’m doing now.
