My girlfriend has been in severe pain for about a week and a half. The pain first presented as a headache, upper back and shoulder pain , and a general feeling of fatigue and poor health.
This was accompanied by a severe pain and burning while urinating , and brown urine.Also nausea , vomitting and diarrhea . There was a clear , odorless vaginal discharge for 24 hours or so.
A physician found blood traces in urine, and started her on pyridium and loritab for pain relief associated with kidney stones.
The pain has now localized to her lower right abdomen , and is sharp and stabbing at times.
Tests showed stones in the LEFT kidney, but the pain is localized on the right side.
I’m worried that more than one thiong is going on here… mainly appendicitis. Her physician seems to believe she is malingering for pain pills and is not acting in what I consider a timely fashion… reschelduling treatment for 10 days later.
This could be fatal if appendix ruptures.
So my question is , could pain from left-side kidney stones be referred to the right side? Or is there something else going on here?

I am a 35 year old male. 6’1 320 lb… Married and a father of two children… I am sick almost all the time. Into my mid 20s I was an athlete. When I had an injury that the doctors called a soft tissue injury of the ankle… They treated this by throwing pain killers at me for 7 years until I saw a specialist who told me it was in fact acute gout. I was told additionally I have a genetic condition called hyperlipidima my body naturally makes to many lipids. I was told they were over 10,000. Needless to say they were amazed I was alive. I have normal to low blood pressure. My cholesterol was 280…and is now 200. last time I had it checked. I have an uncler where my esophagus meets my stomach. They gave me a generic form of nexium to fix it. And it did from what I can tell.
I have this wonderful pain in my abdomen like all my organs get swollen and I also at that time double over in pain from cramps, as well as excessive gas and belching some kind of sulfur smelling something… It makes me vomit and have diarrhea to the point I lay on the bathroom floor and just hope if I was to fall asleep I would not wake up. I am tired, angry, cranky, depressed, and at a total loss. I talk to the doctor who tells me to losse weight. So, I try and well when I move it feels like 10000000 pins are slamming through my ankle so exercise is not easy. I can’t swim because I live in a cold weather region. I break bikes…flat out. I have lost 30 lb by diet modification. I cut out sugar and soda. I eat more veggies and less fats and red meat. Mostly because if I don’t I get a massive wave of pain from eating that stuff. I don’t sleep well… I have trouble breathing….I can’t stand for more then 2o min at a time…and if I do I can’t move for 3 days unless u take 800 mg anti-inflammation drugs. I have uric acid deposits in my feet. I take alloperinol for that when I can afford it. I can’t do this anymore. This needs to get fixed or I am a dead man. Oh and I have kidney stones…too…weee.

first off i have anxiety,take kolonopin*, and two months ago i had my tonsils out lots of medication, now that i have been off meds for three weeks, i have worse anxiety, sweet taste in mouth, and always have been thirsty, my stomach has gerd like symptoms all the time but ppi i started a month ago don’t stop the reflux, pain in my abdomen, i don’t have a history of diabetes in my family and i’m not at all over or under weight, the pain is more on the right then the left top of ribs to back area and i have mild elevated biliruben count, tired a lot, sleepless nights, however i have had tests for kidney stones,blood work, and gallstones, also i don’t smoke or drink! and i have changed my diet to fish n bread for the most part! serious answers please!!!!!!!

For the past at least 4 months. I have been having stomach probelms coming and going in waves. I saw the doctor last night and he thought it was either my gullbladder or a problem with a valve in my stomach which I have had when I was young but was cured with zantac 75.

My symptoms are a super gassy stomach. Always bubbling and gurgling all over in my abdomen with cramping feeling. Gets worse after eating and problems with Diarrhea.

Well to start off my wonderful day today I was on my way to work and got the worst pain in my abdomen I have ever felt. It hurt so bad to even breath. So to the emergency room it was. After sitting in the doctors office and taking blood tests that showed little results everything seemed normal. My urine tests showed a little bit of blood but nothing outragous. They set me up on emergency for a Upper GI and a Ultrasound. Well Ultrasound came first and after the ultrasound they said I was not going to be getting the upper GI anymore. This confused me cause I was sure I was having a gullbladder problem and how would they know whats wrong with my gullbladder without the upper GI?… anyways afer the ultrasound I saw the doc again and he says I have kidney stones (wtf.. news to me). They gave me two shots in the Ass of Demerol and gave me vicodin for pain and Flowex or something like that for the stones. Turns out I have at least 3-4 stones in my kidneys but before I could ask any more questions my doctor was out the door. I guess my real question is.. is it heard of to have a really gassy intestinal area or abdomen with especially diarrhea from kidney stones!?!?!

(I feel super zoned out right now, Demerol is good stuff )

I’ve been having some pain in my testicles for the past several days, and yesterday after I urinated I had intense pain directly above the penis, where that patch of hair grows, but below the beltline. I also seem to be having a slight pain in my abdomen. I don’t have an infection because I had a urinary test at the doctors two days ago. What could be my problem? Testicle injury? I did sit on them a few times because the boxers I was wearing weren’t supportive enough and they sagged too low. Could I still be experiencing pain due to these non-supportive boxers? Is it likely to be kidney stones?, despite my age of 20, and the fact that I’ve led a dehydrated diet for the past few years, and food diet was not the best. Thanks for your time.
Could it be a torsion injury?
lol.. I have a steady girlfriend. This isn’t related to ejaculation, trust me. Maybe too much sex??!!
