For the past at least 4 months. I have been having stomach probelms coming and going in waves. I saw the doctor last night and he thought it was either my gullbladder or a problem with a valve in my stomach which I have had when I was young but was cured with zantac 75.
My symptoms are a super gassy stomach. Always bubbling and gurgling all over in my abdomen with cramping feeling. Gets worse after eating and problems with Diarrhea.
Well to start off my wonderful day today I was on my way to work and got the worst pain in my abdomen I have ever felt. It hurt so bad to even breath. So to the emergency room it was. After sitting in the doctors office and taking blood tests that showed little results everything seemed normal. My urine tests showed a little bit of blood but nothing outragous. They set me up on emergency for a Upper GI and a Ultrasound. Well Ultrasound came first and after the ultrasound they said I was not going to be getting the upper GI anymore. This confused me cause I was sure I was having a gullbladder problem and how would they know whats wrong with my gullbladder without the upper GI?… anyways afer the ultrasound I saw the doc again and he says I have kidney stones (wtf.. news to me). They gave me two shots in the Ass of Demerol and gave me vicodin for pain and Flowex or something like that for the stones. Turns out I have at least 3-4 stones in my kidneys but before I could ask any more questions my doctor was out the door. I guess my real question is.. is it heard of to have a really gassy intestinal area or abdomen with especially diarrhea from kidney stones!?!?!
(I feel super zoned out right now, Demerol is good stuff
)
she hasnt dranken any in 3 to 4 months and shes afraid the caffine will hurt her?
Started a little over a year ago, when I had my first kidney stone. Was ahwfuly painful and eneded up in the ER…I didnt have another one till 6 months ago. And after the first one they said it was just a fluke thing I wouldnt have anymore….but This past year I have found out that I have pcos and borderline diabetes and border like blood pressure problems, also on going fevers and skin infections, along with stomach/bowel problems. About 4 months ago I started having more kidney stones…one about every other week, some are very painful. Went to see a urologist, they told me to go on a specific diet and start taking calcium with all food I eat, cut out all meat other then chicken and fish and turkey, and up my fluid intake. They did two 24 hour urinalysis scans and they saw my calcium was low in my urine and I am only putting out half of what I should urine volume wise. But I have had atleast 6 stones in the past 4 months, and I am in the process of passing another one and I think something else needs to be done. I believe something else is going on with me and this cant be normal. Can anyone give me some insight or stories of there own? Help
Around August 2008 or so I had kidney stone pains. Doctor said I would pass it within days of that ER visit, however, I never did.
Pain went away and stones became out of sight, out of mind. Is it possible that with all the water I was drinking that the stone dissolved, or, could it of been bouncing around in my bladder till today?
Lately I’m having some sharp pains at the base of my penis. I figured it could be some infection, but is it possible it could be a stone?
Also, what is an affordable option to seek medical attention in the St. Louis area?
I passed it on Christmas night.
Funny story!
I was in bed ready to go asleep when I "adjusted" myself and noticed at the "head" there was something that felt like a scab. I became very concerned as I thought maybe the infection was leaking blood and that rough surface at the tip was a scab resulting from blood ozing out of the tube.
Inspection in a more lighted environment revealed that it was a kidney stone. Still in my tube, hanging out just enough to feel it.
Pulled it out with no pains or troubles.
I’m going to save the stone for chemistry class this coming semester. Can’t afford a doctor, but I might be able to get the professors to lend me some extra lab time!
Looking at its color and such, my first impression is that it is a Uric acid stone.
Seems to fit my eating habits as I eat alot of meat.
Infact, I raise and butcher pastured chicken meat for myself and select others.
