I have a kidney failure and the waiting list for a kidney where I live can take between 7-10 years longer for me since I am Type O positve. For now I’ve been getting dialysis treatment 4 times a week and am getting worse since now I also have Lupus. One of my sisters had hers tested but when UCLA called her to let her know that she’s a match, she never called them back. My Dad and sister would tell people how sorry they feel for me and that they want to donate their kidney but it’s all talk. When they needed things from me, I was always helping, now that I need help, they are all gone. How would you feel about this situation? I have 3 kids and my husband is not a match so he can’t donate. I’ve decided to stay out of my familys life for now because it hurts to know that no one seems to care.
My sister has no kids and she can no longer have one per MD because of her age. No husband either. But everytime she needs someone, it is who is there for her.

I am a dialysis patient and my medical bills are getting too much. Medications alone cost me a few hundred dollars a month plus the medical expenses. This drains me out like crazy and I feel like I am nothing but a burden to my family, financially and emotionally. This affects my whole family. It feels like I am getting worse. It takes between 7-10 years to get a kidney transplant. Should I just stop the treatments and live my life the best I can and go on from there? Without treatments, there is no telling how long I will last from days to perhaps a month. What to do?

My brother has renal kidney failure and he needs to undergo dialysis treatments and kidney transplant as soon as possible.The doctor said that it cost almost 1 million all in all,but we dont have amount like this,my father was only a farmer tenants and i’m only a production operator.Even i’ll get overtime daily,this is not enough to produce 1 million for my brother.I/we love my brother.What foundation that helps kidney patients, can u suggest me for my brother?I want him to stay and live with us.If only i can give him a 10 years of my life,i could. I have had endometriosis for around 10 years now and the only treatment suitable for me is large amounts of ketoprofen. I only take it for one day every month but a lot, nothing else helps with the pain. For a year now I have started to have kidney pains, not bad pains but some and usually every day.

My gyne didn’t seem to be bothered but I feel worried. Can this cause bigger problems in the future?

My father has kidney stones and has for over 10 years. Lately I have been having sharp stabbing pain in my lower back on the far right side, it comes and goes every so often but lately it has been getting worse. My dad says it could be, I haven’t gone to the doctor (I am afraid of what he’ll say).
