i want to know how long it usually takes for a Kidney Stone to pass?
My husband went to the ER and the DR did a CT. The DR said the Kidney Stone is on top of his bladder and the worse part is over. The DR also said it should pass within 24-48 hrs considering its on top of his bladder. It still has not pass. If you have had one how long was it before it passed.

thankfully, I have not had one. But I had a friend who refused to pass his, and I suggested he chug 2 beers. They’ll make you pee like a racehorse, and it’ll force it out better than water. He didn’t believe me. Instead, he spent 3 days in pain. Finally, he chugged 3 beers (hey, he was on a roll). Sure enough, he said it was agonizing to start, hollered through most of it, and was the most relieved he’d ever been by the end.
