Is it common to pass another kidney stone soon after passing one?
I was diagnosed in the ER with one Tues. night, passed it out of my body Friday. Today (Sat.)having mild back pain again….is it possible that I had more than one stone and they’re just taking awhile to all come loose from my kidney or something? Or is it just likely that the first one left my urinary tract sore? I’m going to a urologist on Thurs.

You likely had more than one stone. Depending on what kind of test they did at the ER, the stones should’ve shown up.

yes, my boyfriend has had 4-5 episodes of passing stones since it began in september. The last one was December. sorry.
I have had three episodes with kidney stones,so I definitely feel your pain! It is possible to have more than one,or the one you did pass could have had a piece brake off and the rest is trying to pass now.I hope if you do have to pass one again it isn’t too painful!
