Is it possible to pass a kidney stone during sex?
Can it only pass through urine? My boyfriend got a stone and was in a lot of pain. We had intercourse and then the pain vanished. Is it just luck that he doesn’t hurt anymore, or could the stone have passed through sex?

The bladder is shut off during sex, so it is physically impossible for a stone to pass from the bladder during ejaculation. However, if the stone had moved into the urethra at or below the prostate, it could well be shot out, so to speak, upon ejaculation. More likely it just moved around in the bladder or perhaps was in the ureters leading from the kidney to the bladder, and moved on into the more roomy bladder.
You would have to be peeing when you have sex.

Generally a kidney stone leaves the body while peeing. Mostly men who have a kidney stone are in too much pain to have sex. Possibly there was a small fragment of the stone remaining in his urethra, and it was washed out during ejaculation, or his urethra was irritated by the stone that had already passed, and now the irritation is healed.
If the stone is above the urethra, sex activity will not dislodge it, because the ureters (from the kidneys), the urinary bladder, and the urethra from the bladder to the penis are not involved in sex.

Men physically can not pee while aroused, that’s the way anatomy works, so he could not pass it out completely. Most likely stone moved to a spot where it does not hurt now.
yes it is i have had plenty of kidney stones. I went pee in the morning and i felt like the stone was just about to come out after i finished so a while later a masterbaited and when i ejaculated afterwards there was the stone!! i was actually realy happy because it did not hurt what so ever so if ur bfs stone was just about to come out and ejaculated theres a good chance his stone would be there too
