I just found out i have a 2mm kidney stone, how can i get rid of it without going back to the dr?

   I had a 9mm kidney stone in December. The doctor told me that if the stone is under 5mm, they will usually let it pass on its own. Mine was too large though, so they gave it 24 hours just in case it DID pass on its own, but then had to do a basket extraction (put me under general anethesia) and break it up and take it out, because it was jamming the tube between my kidney and bladder (ureter). a 2mm stone should be able to pass on its own, though it might not be comfortable.

   Most kidney stones are pised out. Wait to see if that is true for you. But kidney stones are also painfull, your decission.

   Well, you could leave it to get bigger and bigger, or you might pass it very painfully, or you could go to the doctor and have it painlessly removed. As previous answerer has said, Your decision. I know what I’d choose.

   drink alot of water and hopefully it will pass but it might hurt alot
