There is no homeopathic cure. They may pass naturally or you may need shock wave lithotripsy to break up the stones so they will pass.
Just a point on the dietary advice though. Reducing calcium in the diet can actually increase your risk of kidney stone formation.
This is because most kidney stones are made of calcium oxalate. Calcium and oxalate combine together and make stones. Oxalate is the limiting factor, as there is not much oxalate in the diet or urine. And there will always be a certain amount of calcium in the urine. So weather a stone forms will depend on how much oxalate there is.
Having a diet high in calcium means that the oxalate you eat gets complexed in your bowel. So less oxalate is absorbed, and there is less oxalate in your urine to form kidney stones.
The old dietary advice was to reduce dietary calcium, and a lot of doctors will still tell you to do this.
But if there is less calcium in your diet, then you will absorb more oxalate and therefore you are more likely to form a kidney stone. A high calcium diet dramatically reduces your risk of kidney stone formation.
Drink plenty of water, as this helps everything to move through quicker.
Foods high in citrate, like lemons work as they change the acidity of the urine and make stone formation less likely.
Alternative treatments for kidney stones include the use of herbal medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, acupressure, hypnosis, or guided imagery to relieve pain. Starfruit (Averrhoa carambola) is recommended to increase the amount of urine a patient passes and to relieve pain. Dietary changes can be made to reduce the risk of future stone formation and to facilitate the resorption of existing stones. Supplementation with magnesium, a smooth muscle relaxant, can help reduce pain and facilitate stone passing. Homeopathy and herbal medicine, both western and Chinese, recommend a number of remedies that may help prevent kidney stones.
NATURAL PRESCRIPTION FOR KIDNEY STONES
Drink a minimum of eight glasses of liquid a day,
Don’t eat large meals late at night.
Keep vitamin C supplementation below 2,000 mg. daily.
Avoid naturally carbonated and mineral waters; their calcium content can be high.
Eat foods that are rich in magnesium such as barley, bran, corn, buckwheat, rye, oats, brown rice, potatoes, and bananas,
Reduce animal protein in the diet to 3 ounces at lunch and 3 ounces at dinner.
Reduce foods rich in calcium such as milk and cheese.
Cut back on salt, sugar, caffeine, and alcohol.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
Determine the type of stone formation you suffer from (hypercalciuria, hyperoxaluria, or hyperurlcosuria) by means of a chemical analysis and see text for more details concerning natural remedies for your particular problem.
IN ADDITION TO YOUR DAILY SUPPLEMENTS, TAKE:
Magnesium: 400 mg. daily,
Vitamin B6: 50 mg. daily.
Potassium: 100 mg. daily.
Very good answer Bettyboo!!
A very simple remedy that I have used: lemon water. Make sure to drink through a straw to avoid damaging your teeth. I usually squeeze half a lemon for each glass of water. I do take an herbal urinary maintenance formula that includes cornsilk along with other herbs. (I take Nature’s Sunshine, but any good healthfood store should have a urinary maintenance formula)
I suspect you don’t understand just how ridiculous homeopathy is.
Never ask for a homoeo drug without telling other symptoms like 1] stone first came in left or right . 2] pain when urinating 3] pain every night etc.
Try a] lyc 30 –pills one dose [4 pills ] every 10 days
Hmmm. None that i know of but since homeopathy is based on the principle "like cures like" let’s make our own cure!!
Take a grain of sand, put in a gallon of water, mix and drink. LOL! :))
Wow! I’m a homeopath!
Seriously, you’d be better off with drinking lots of fluids, medication for the pain and seeing a REAL doctor to see if you need more treatment.
Hope you get better.
