Pass out 2mm kidney stone?
I went to ER due to severe back pain and found out that I have a 2mm kidney stone. The Doctor told me that I can pass it out naturally in a few days. It’s been 4 days now and I am still in pain & the stone is still not out yet even though I’ve been trying to drink a lot of water everyday (at least a gallon a day). I don’t want to take too much of motrin & Tylenol for the pain but I don’t have a choice. Could someone please tell me how to pass it out quickly. Thank you very much and God bless you.

Hi. I have had plenty kidney stones and 5 kidney stone surgeries. My advice to you is to drink beer. I have found that beer helps me the most. When people drink beer they have to pee. Hold it until you can no longer, this builds up a faster flow to push the stone through. Beer and pain pills do not mix, I think motrin or tylenol would be ok, but not any prescription pain meds. Whatever you are drinking it is my advice to hold it till you can’t anymore to build up the pressure. Good Luck and I am sorry that you are in pain. Take care.
“Hi. I have had plenty kidney stones and 5 kidney stone surgeries. My advice to you is to drink beer.”
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you freaking retarded!!!!!
Drinking beer is one of the reasons you get kidney stones!!
AND if you have a kidney stone in your ureter, it doesnt matter how much you have to urinate because the passageway from the kidney to the bladder is involuntary, you have no control over it!
Beer is not the cause of kidney stone. I have a kidney disease and they tell me to drink beer all the time. Causes for kidney stones are uric acid (pee there is trapped in your kidney) and calcium. Therefore avoid calcium rich foods and drinks during this time. You are right that you can not control the stone when it is in your ureter, however, the more liquid you drink, the faster your kidney flushes everything out, this would include a stone. The majority of people with stones by day four would have the stone in their bladder. In this case, the beer suggestion would be a productive one.
