What could this signify (concerning a kidney stone)?

I had a bout of severe pain 2 nights ago, and had to go to the ER. My kidney stone is around 6mm large, and I started taking pain meds once I got home. I had no further pain while on the meds. Today is the first day I haven’t taken the meds, and still no pain? Is this normal for kidney stone pain to come and go, or could this signify that the stone is already in the bladder? I have been urinating normally as well.

You may have passed it, if it made its way down your ureter, it would definitely fit through your urethra and into the toilet. People with kidney stones are usually recommended to strain there urine to look for the stone. You can easily pass a 6mm stone (Maybe easily isn’t the right word). If the stone is still in your kidney, the pain can be quite intermittent. Kidney stones don’t really hurt, kidney stones trying to force their way down a narrow ureter is where the pain come from.
