Drinking vinegar for kidney stones?
I generally laugh at home remedies, because I feel like the billions spent on medical research would confirm or deny them, BUT my friend suffered for three weeks with a kidney stone. Pain so bad they had him on morphine. He was scheduled for lithotripsy (ultrasound breaking up), but last week he started a vinegar-drinking regimen, and within two days passed huge amounts of flakes and the stone was gone. What the heck? Sounds to me like it worked. The doc pooh-poohed it, but admitted the stone was gone. What the heck?

Wouldn’t surprise me, vinegar is pretty amazing!
Acetic acid is metabolised in the body and doesn’t appear in the urine.
What worked for me was being bounced up and down on by the kids.
No – seriously – lying on your back with the children jumping on your tummy, the pressure waves are quite considerable and shove stones out a treat. Not large ones – the only time I had one too large lithotripsy worked, but if I get a twinge the kids flatten me and it passes…as it were.
um mm ok. What is the question?
