Kidney Stones ?

My mom said that I might be getting ready to pass a kidney stone. I have this sharp pain on my lower left back.

The question is how much will this hurt and how long until I do pass it?

How did your mother known you have a kidney stone ?

I mean if you really have a kidney stone that you’re about to pass, then you should already know how much it hurts.

I don’t want to scare you, but the pain of kidney stones is perhaps one of the most horrible pains a human being can withstand.

Moreover, If you really have a kidney stone, then you may need to have it dissolved or at least crushed into smaller fragments before you can pass it.

There are some medical treatments like lithotripsy that are used for that purpose. There are also some other remedies that can be used for dissolving kidney stones.

I’ll add some resources that I hope will help :

The pain is the same as a woman giving birth. What you are doing is passing an object the size of your little finger’s nail through your stagola(the hole in the tip of your pen**). This is extremely painful for males, but if you are a woman it will be nothing, no pain maybe only a little discomfort. Best of luck to you.
P.S. you can have it surgically removed, but you’ll have a scar and there will be no pain.

It should hurt just the same as it is now. Just remember–it will travel from the Kidney to the Bladder. That is when it hurts. From the bladder–through the penis–It will not hurt. Once it does quit hurting–the next time you urinate, you might want to strain the urine. How long—could be quickly or take a day or so and you might even have to go to the hospital before it will pass??? Good luck to you. Yes, I have had them.

I would get up and walk–bend–and drink lots of fluids–if possible. This will help flush and move the stone downward. The guy above me is crazy. It hurts a male no worse than a female. It hurts only in the tube from the kidney to the bladder. Once it reaches the bladder–there is no pain from the stone–maybe from the damage it has done though.

How much does it hurt depends on the size and your personal tolerance to pain. Some people pass out from the pain, others say it’s not that bad. Most will agree it can be painful. How long does it take differs depending on your specific situation. Most pass the stone within 72 hours of when the pain began.

Possible solution I discovered which has kept me kidney stone free. I never want to pass a stone ever again so I did some research. (Has been used for thousands of years successfully outside the US.)

Drink lots of lemon juice from real lemons. It can be mixed with a little water and honey, the stronger the better so only add enough water to make it tolerable to drink. The lemon juice dissolves the stone. Avoid all acid producing foods i.e grains, grain fed meats, sodas, sugar, homogenized dairy. I have given this remedy to several people, they all say it worked.

Depending on how far along you are, lemon juice usually works within 24 hours. The key is to keep enough fluids in your body and make it an alkaline environment which will dissolve the stone.
