I have a cat recently diagnosed with kidney failure .Am extending his life w/ IV fluids & other medications ..

my real question is … his back legs , seems like he is/has lost his fur ,almost seems like the bone is exposed . before taking him to the vet , any body have any idea what this is , any treatment . he does not seem like he is in pain , any advice would be nice !

    you probably should take him to see vet it is in his nature to hide pain and he might be helped by the vet.

    Unfortunately, kidney disease upsets many of the delicate balances in a cats body and can result in many different complications and ailments. If you haven’t had a blood test done recently, it can tell a lot about what is going on inside and what medications can help. Also be aware that many medications also have side effects, so that should not be overlooked.
