How to get rid of this annoying feeling?

I almost always feel bloated/full…even when I don’t eat much. I’m 5’2", about 120 lbs. I do weight more now than I usually do, but would just a few lbs create such a bloated feeling?

It’s like my stomach is distended. I can’t suck it in for the life of me…unless my stomach is completely empty. I know for a fact I’m not pregnant or anything. I did have a UTI and I currently have 2 kidney stones. Would the kidney issues make me so bloated? It’s annoying– and my clothes aren’t very flattering because of my stomach being so distended.

what might cause this? how can i make it go away?

My dad had kidney stones and he had the same bloating problems.

you could be bloated caused by water retention… avoid too much salt, that alone could cause bloating

There seems to be a total lack of exercise, abdominal muscles are flabby and need to be toned. Kidney stones can be easily removed with modern laser treatment. So this should be done first before you take to active exercise routine. Exercise is a must. Beside this you have to avoid junk food and eat fibrous food. Of course stop drinking aerated drinks. Plane safe water is the best for health

Sounds like inflamation from some digestive irritant. Distention would indicate a large area affected, as in irritable bowel syndrome, and diverticulitis. The main culprits contributing to this tend to be too much fiber, too much fresh strawberries, or spices of any kind. Caffeine and carbonated drinks, even beer and champaign, can also bring it about.

Cut all of those items out, and you should be fine in about 48 hours. Then try any of those one at a time, and if the discomfort returns, you have found one of the irritants to stay away from.

Lots of possibilities to check with a dr.

I say just stop eating alot of salty foods that may cause this bloating. Drink lots of water and do daily exercises. But then again whatever advice you are given always consult with your doctor.

Feeling bloated is necessarily a sign of pregnancy. It could be due to overeating. Since you mentioned that you don’t eat so much, you might want to cut back back on your coffee, soda and sugar intake. Also try an exercise regiment which include cardio exercises such running, jogging, skipping, cycling etc. Try these simple steps are you’ll see immediate results. All the best.

I know what you mean. I have been there. I am not sure if that has anything to do with kidney stones. Especially if you are following a diet for the stones you would lose weight. The bloated feeling is because you might be just putting on weight and don’t have any physical activity to feel that you are active or fit.
