Is the pain from a kidney stone compareable to the pain of dying?

Also, is fainting like dying? kuz I passed out and you don’t even know you pass out when you do, it’s almost like you’re non-existant. just wondering

Nobody here knows, ’cause nobody here is dead, hon.

I think you’re asking a philosophical question….it depends. What do you define as a living human being? Sentience? In that case, when you are no longer sentient, you are dead. And when you’re sleeping you are also dead.

Pain from a kidney stone is comparable to the pain of giving birth. ( I have had one.) And fainting is not like dying, it is that you are not getting enough oxygen to your brain, usually, unless your heart stops or something like that. And as for the pain of dying…I don’t think it always "hurts" it just depends on how you die, but I doubt it feels good lol.

Well, how the heck are WE supposed to know DYING feels like? WE’RE not freaking dead, so we don’t know what it feels like! Duh!
I DO know that passing a kidney stone is supposed to be just as painful as giving birth. I’ve had four kids, but I’ve never had a kidney stone, so I don’t know if that’s true.
As for fainting, I HAVE done that. It is a weird feeling. First, you feel sick to your stomach, then you can’t hear, then you get weak in the knees, then you black out and that’s it. It’s kind of cool, if you ask me.
    Hee hee!!
