Has anyone ever passed a kidney stone that was larger than 4mm?

Have a 7mm and the pain is intense. Confirmed by wet CT-scan. Waiting to see urologist.
Just wanted to know if there was a chance it could pass.
Primary Care physician said they don’t usually pass.

People do, depending on the shape of the stone but it is NOT likely and you will probably need intervention. You should be drinking at least 2 liters of fluids per day while you have this active stone (100 ounces daily from now on since you now are considered a stone former). Good luck!

Holy hell man. I’m not sure, mine looked like buckshot when it finally came out so it’s volume beforehand is a mystery to me.

That is some intense pain though, I’ve never experienced anything that bad before. GL bud.

You should appreciate the opportunity this kidney stone has to offer to you. If you let it get big enough, it will become a fully formed Andrachtiod egg and eventually hatch. You can ride the Andrachtoid to work and back, or just have fun with it. Make sure to eat plenty of pantie hoes, or else the Andrachtoid will become enraged while inside of you and eat you from the inside out.

I think mine was a 3mm just keep drinking liquids and hopefully it will start to chip off and eventually the whole stone will pass in small pieces.
I drank beer so it lessened the pain.
