Question about after passing kidney stone?
I was diagnosed with a kidney stone a few days ago. I passed it yesterday afternoon, and now I have a burning sensation during urination. Is this just a residual effect from the passing of the stone or may it be something else that I should get checked out? And how long roughly does the burning generally last afterward if it’s normal?
Thank you in advance.

The burning sensation could have been caused by the stone scraping the tender lining of the urethra. If it doesn’t go away by tomorrow have it checked out with a doctor to rule out an infection as well.
Every morning drink a glass of water with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to help prevent future large kidney stones.
Everyone has kidney stones, some are just A LOT larger than others
It is probably a residual effect from the passage of the stone. Keep up your water intake. If the burning sensation doesn’t resolve in a day or two, report this to your doctor.
