what to do if you can not eat or drink due to nausea from kidney stone pain?
my husband has a kidney stone. they gave him pain meds and anti nausea meds. they are not helping. he wont eat anything and can hardly drink due to the nausea. what should he due.

Try some Ginger Ale or 7Up…that usually kicks the nausea!
He should be taking the anti-nausea medication regularly. As long as he drinks fluids, it doesn’t matter whether he eats or not. And, the pain medication could be causing some of the nausea – it if doesn’t get better soon, call your family doctor and ask that the pain medication be switched to a different one.
The main thing is to eat health.
