kidney failure he refuses to take treatment and has gained 20 lbs in 4 days how long can can this go on?
he is 84 and does not wont treatment.how long can he live this way and or how long will it take him to die because i hate seeing him suffer

Once kidney dialysis is stopped, I person will usually die within a few days, sometimes as long as two weeks.
Let’s all pray for an easement of his suffering.

A man’s got to call his own shots in life. He has courage. So do you God bless love and comfort him.
All the weight is water gain. He is not long for this world give him another day or two.
It’s not going to be that much longer I give it a day or 2. But I do offer up my prayers to you.
Respect his decision…..no matter how hard it is for you. this is a decision he made for himself.
Take comfort in that he is calling his own shots. He wont last long. Kidney function is too important to the body.

My Dad past away and I was with him and I was so glad to there with him when he past He just went to sleep,
And in to the arms of God,
[ He had Brain cancer ] You’ll be just fine
sounds like he is wanting to die. unfortunately he will not last very long a couple of months or so at the most. brace yourself dear the closer it gets the worse it will get.
