16 weeks pregnant and back pain above my right kidney?
I don’t have any kidney infection or anything and it’s not the normal pregnancy back pain. It’s only right above my right kidney and it’s sharp pains tht get worse when I walk. I’ve had it for 2 months now so I don’t think my pregnancy is in any direct danger from it. The doctors can’t find anything wrong and don’t really try to either. Could I have kidney stones or something more serious?

mine has done the same excact thing. i think mine is from where the baby stays all the time. he stays rite under my right side ribs. i think he may just be on a nerve or he has kicked until its constantly sore. hopefully itl go away.
sounds like your back is just sore from the extra baby weight you are carrying. Its normal to feel sore in those areas. Its not normal to feel excrushating pains. Did you give a urine sample to your doctor it could be a UTI or bladder infection. Possiable high levels of protien, like water retention. Just try to take it easy. Use a warm compress for no longer than 20mins on your back and then ice for 20mins!
